MY 1ST ALPINE TRIP – CHAMONIX 2011

In the summer 2011 I set off on my own to Chamonix where I signed up for the Mont Blanc course. Although I didn’t climb the highest peak of the Alps, the trip was extremely successful.

Apart from learning basic alpine skills, I managed to do some “routes” of this area: Gran Paradiso (4061m, PD), Pointe Lachenal traverse (3613m AD-) and Cosmiques Arete on Aiguille du Midi (3842m, AD).

Massive thanks to my alpine guides: Andy Teasdale, Matt Helliker and Matt:)
